關於台灣當代一年展

展覽介紹
社團法人台灣視覺藝術協會(簡稱視盟)是一個服務臺灣藝術工作者、提升臺灣藝術發展環境的非營利組織。自2002年開始舉辦台灣當代一年展，呈現各類型藝術創作者的多元化作品，並聯結世界各地的另類、實驗或另類空間，舉辦各種藝術活動，旨在提升臺灣社會的文化內涵。20多年來，臺灣當代藝術家們在這裡嶄露頭角，爾後續於各大場合拓展、或獲國內外藝術獎項、或受商業市場青睞等，共同讓臺灣當代藝術圈更加發光發熱。

展覽目標
雙向循環目標
1. 讓各類型的臺灣當代藝術家，都能擁有被看見的機會與未來其他發展可能性
2. 持續為社會挖掘、培育、提供優質的臺灣當代藝術家

展覽內容
主要為以下幾個展區 (實際內容依當年度規劃而定)
展區1 一年聚焦 : 不限資經歷與內容之各類型藝術作品徵件
展區2 一年培力 : 不限資經歷與內容之策展計劃徵件
展區3 國內機構 : 邀請或合作臺灣各類型藝術單位，進行展出
展區4 國外機構 : 邀請或合作國際各類型藝術單位，進行展出
展區5 其他專案 : 臺灣當代藝術資料庫等

參展資格
展區1&2 : 視盟會員方可參與。需為臺灣籍(外籍人士，需具備居留證)。
展區3~5 : 皆為邀請制。

展覽時間
徵件 : 每年年初(3/1~3/31)，實際日期依當年度公告為準。
展出 : 每年9月或10月，實際日期依當年度公告為準。

About TAIWAN ANNUAL

INTRODUCTION
The Association of Visual Arts in Taiwan (AVAT) is a non–profit organization that serves Taiwanese art workers and the art development in Taiwan. AVAT starts the exhibition ” TAIWAN ANNUAL ” since 2002, with the goal of providing a exhibition opportunity/platform for local artists, presenting diverse works of various types of art creators, and connecting alternative, experimental, or alternative spaces around the world to hold various art events, aims to enhance the cultural connotation of Taiwanese society. Since 2002, Taiwanese contemporary artists have emerged here, then expanded the development in domestic and foreign occasions and awards, and been favored by the commercial market, making Taiwanese contemporary art industry more radiant.

AVAT was established in 1999, as a gathering of various professionals in Taiwanese visual art industry, AVAT operates the TAIWAN ANNUAL and various art programs, including an alternative exhibition space FreeS Art Space http://www.frees-art-space.com/ and Taiwan Contemporary Art Archives (TCAA)

GOAL
Bilateral circulation :
1. Let all types of Taiwanese contemporary artists have the opportunity to be seen and have the possibility of future development.
2. Continue to explore, cultivate and provide high-quality Taiwanese contemporary artists for the society.

CONTENT
Mainly the followings (the actual content will depend on the plan of the year)
Zone 1 Focal ANNUAL: opencall for all types of artworks (unlimited art career experience and artwork types)
Zone 2 Foster ANNUAL: opencall for curatorial proposals (unlimited art career experience and proposal types)
Zone 3 Domestic Art Units: the invitation or cooperation plans with various art units (organizations, institutions, groups, etc.) in Taiwan
Zone 4 Foreign Art Units: the invitation or cooperation plans with various art units (organizations, institutions, groups, etc.) worldwide
Zone 5 Other Art Projects: Taiwan Contemporary Art Archives(TCAA), etc.

PARTICIPATION QUALIFICATION
Zone 1&2: Only AVAT members can participate. Only Taiwanese or foreigner with Taiwanese ID (the resident certificate) can participate. Join membership https://membership.avat-art.org/register
Zone 3~5: All by invitation only.

TIME
Opencall: mainly 3/1~3/31. For the actual date, please check the annual announcement.
Exhibition: mainly September or October. For the actual date, please check the annual announcement.
